Depict research 2

This was my second choice of the short film. Kurent pulled me by how the description was written. The idea of the film being based upon a myth of Slovenia shows a lot of imagination in the making of the film. The film starts of by a small pan going across the mountains of snow and to show you the creature in the making. I like how there are a lot of close ups of the creature all though the close ups are not extreme close ups in which I like because I believe the person who made the film is trying to keep extreme details of the creature hidden in which makes you want to watch more of the film. I like how in the middle of the film they have collided to song tracks together to try and connect to the type of background and action that the creature is doing to help emphasise on his/her movements or what they are doing at that exact time. I like the over shoulder shot in which it shows what the creature is looking at, which seems to be a shadow following the creature at this time. An extreme close up in the film is when the creature is ringing the bells around its waist in which I believe is a calling to something or rather a jingle to bring something alive. The main part in which I like is the how the shadow is painted then in to a girl and slowly fades away from the creature. Another part is how at the end of the film there is a colour burst in which shows how the creature has created it in which this also shows how by the creature ringing the bells could have been the cause of the burst of colour at the end of the film.
