Blair Witch project

Blair witch project-low budget film review:

Question: How does this film show you that it is a low budget film?

The Blair Witch project showed me that it was done on a low budget by there scenary. The shots and film taken was based in a forest and their own town which shows that they did not have to spend a lot of money on green-screens or spend a lot of money on hiring a place to film. Another way in which I knew it was a low budget movie is their clothing. The outfits that the actors wore showed how they did not have fancy clothing in which also shows that they did not have to spend a lot of money on clothing ue to using their resources that they already had available. Another way is the people used. Many films use highly known actors such as Johnny Depp or Scarlett Johanson in which these actors cost a lot of money to hire for the duration of the film and also for the editing of the film in case of any retakes. They also did not have a famous director to direct them correctly but they used themselves to direct properly in places that they needed to be in. +In the Blair Witch project, none of the people used were famous implying on how they were all friends showed that they did not have to spend money on hiring one another to appear in the film in the making ag the time. Another way is  the way the cameras are used. The actors in the film seem to hold the cameras through the scenes in which shows that they did not have a camera stand to put it on. Camera stands can seem to be expensive but it shows how the actors in the film appeared to only use their hands or their background to perch the camera against it. The props used in the film were mainly owned by the actors themselves such as the tents, backpacks and more. This shows another way of using resources and also not spending a lot on expensive props to help the film. The only thing in the film that shows there was a budget was the cameras being used by the actors. Although this does not make out that the actors brought the cameras for this one occasion, when they could've been using their own cameras. By all of this, they all show how the actors in the film did not spend much by how they used their resources more than their own money.
